Movie Den: $2 Matinee Series Kicks Off at Vidiots’ MUBI Microcinema

June 16, 2025

Golden Globe Foundation

The Golden Globe Foundation is proud to support Movie Den, a tween and teen-focused matinee repertory series running all summer at Vidiots’ MUBI Microcinema. Featuring everything from offbeat comedies and fantasy adventures to psychological thrillers and coming-of-age stories, the series invites young audiences to experience a wide range of unforgettable films on the big screen.

Running June 16 through August 27, Movie Den offers $2 afternoon screenings every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday—with free popcorn, in tribute to the Eagle Theatre’s pricing of yesteryear. While designed for ages 12 and up, all are welcome. (Some films may include mature content; MPAA ratings are provided.)

We’re proud to help make moviegoing more accessible—and to champion programming that sparks imagination, reflection, and a lifelong love of cinema.
