Fresh Films

Fresh Films (FF) is a national nonprofit dedicated to democratizing access and opportunities for Black, Brown, and other historically marginalized young people to gain jobs in the creative industry (film, television, social media and more).  Its mission is to engage, educate, and empower Black, Brown, and historically marginalized teens and young adults to build technical skills/mastery, soft and workplace skills and confidence by involving them in the collaborative, creative, and technical process of filmmaking.  Its program offers a training ground and gateway to economic mobility within the L.A. creative industry.

Fresh Films has a 20-year track record of work and commitment in support of racial equity in communities where systemic inequalities exist. It provides hands-on skill building, meaningful mentorship, and valuable connections through its industry partnerships and projects.
