The 3rd Annual Children’s & Family Emmy Awards are set to take place on Saturday, March 15, 2025, in Los Angeles. Now in its third year, this prestigious event continues to shine a spotlight on the best and brightest in children’s and family-oriented television programming.

Rachel Schwartz, Head of the Children’s & Family Emmy Awards, emphasized the significance of this year’s nominations. “This year’s nominations are particularly meaningful as much of the work being honored was delayed due to last year’s strikes,” said Schwartz. “It is a privilege to have been named Head of a competition that is not only honoring exceptional talent but is also shaping the way children and their families interact with the world. Congratulations to all.”

A film created by students from Girls Voices Now (a Golden Globe Foundation grant recipient) has earned a nomination in the Outstanding Short Form Live Action Program category. The Beauty in Being Different, written, directed, and produced by women, has been recognized for its powerful storytelling. Students of the program will be attending the ceremony in person thanks to GVN program sponsor Here Media, offering them a unique opportunity to experience the event firsthand.
