Celebrating Summer at the Library with City Librarian John Szabo, illustrator Noor Sofi (whose incredible illustration of Los Angeles graces this summer’s tote bag—get one at your local branch library while supplies last!), LAPL librarians, and several LAPL Diversity and Inclusion apprentices.

Sign up for the Summer Reading Challenge either at your local Los Angeles Public Library location or online with Beanstack. Track your progress online at lapl.org/summer or on the Beanstack Tracker mobile app, or download and print a gameboard. To finish the Summer Reading Challenge, you must complete 10 activities and read for 10 hours or a combination of those.

Once you have completed the reading and activities, bring your completed game board to your local Los Angeles Public Library location to collect your competition prizes. Everyone who completes the Summer Reading Challenge can be entered into drawings to win exciting prizes like gift cards, museum memberships, or a new Apple iPad.

Download a gameboard here today and start taking part in the Summer Reading Challenge.
