WHAT IS THE STAY HOME AND READ A BOOK BALL?
The Library Foundation’s longest-running and most-beloved “non-event” supporting the Los Angeles Public Library. Don’t get dressed up or drive across town to attend a fancy gala – instead stay home, read a book, and have a ball however you choose!

WHERE & WHEN
Go as far as your imagination can take you! Indulge in the pages of a great book, morning or night on Sunday, March 3, 2024.

HOW
While you’re celebrating, take a moment to support the Library Foundation of Los Angeles by donating what you would have spent on a night out.

Share photos of your literary festivities on our Facebook event pageInstagram, or Twitter and tell us what you’ll be reading – tag us at @LibraryFoundLA and use #StayHomeandRead to let others know how you are celebrating!

ATTIRE
Dress to the nines or stay cozy. Whatever you choose, you and your book(s) are the guests of honor!

FOOD & DRINK
