Justice for My Sister Launches 2026 PA Certification Program for Emerging Filmmakers

Justice for My Sister has opened applications for its 2026 Production Assistant Certification (PAC) Program, an eight-week virtual training series created to support emerging filmmakers of color through mentorship, industry workshops, and hands-on production experience.

Designed for participants ages 18 and older, the program aims to help aspiring filmmakers strengthen their production knowledge while building professional connections and practical on-set skills.

The PAC Program includes weekly virtual workshops led by industry professionals, training in production and on-set fundamentals, mentorship opportunities, and career development support. Los Angeles-based participants will also have access to additional skill-building and job placement opportunities. Full scholarships will be available to select fellows.

The program will take place Tuesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. PDT beginning July 7 and continuing through August 25, 2026.

• August 18
• August 25

Applications close Sunday, May 31, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. PDT.

Applicants are encouraged to use the essay portion of the application to share their interest in filmmaking and explain why they would benefit from participating in the program.
